Refund Policy

1. Overview

ProductDoctor offers monthly subscriptions processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. This policy outlines when and how refunds are issued. We want you to be satisfied with the Service — if you're not, we'll make it right.

2. Free Plan

The Free plan does not involve any payment, so no refund applies. You can use it indefinitely at no cost within the free-tier limits.

3. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All paid plans (Starter, Pro, Agency) include a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 14 days, contact us for a full refund of your first payment. No questions asked.

After the 14-day period, no refunds are issued for the current billing cycle. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your access continues until then.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at support@productdoctor.app with the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include the email address associated with your account.
  3. Briefly describe the reason for your request (optional but helpful).

We will process your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle.

5. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. If you also want a refund for the current period (within the 14-day window), please contact us separately.

6. Plan Changes

Upgrading a plan is prorated — you pay the difference for the remainder of the billing cycle. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle; no refund is issued for the difference in the current cycle.

7. Exceptions

We may issue refunds outside the 14-day window at our discretion in cases of verified service outages, billing errors, or other exceptional circumstances. Contact us and we will review your case.

8. Paddle as Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle may have their own policies regarding payment disputes and chargebacks. Contacting us directly is the fastest way to resolve any billing issue.
