Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ProductDoctor (the "Service"), an e-commerce product catalog audit and improvement tool operated by ProductDoctor ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• "Service" — the ProductDoctor web application available at app.productdoctor.app.
• "User" — any individual who accesses or uses the Service.
• "Content" — product data, CSV/XLSX files, and any other material uploaded by the User.
• "Subscription" — a paid plan granting access to additional Service features.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One account per person; do not share access with others.

4. Service Description

ProductDoctor allows you to upload e-commerce product catalogs (CSV or XLSX format), receive quality scores for product titles and descriptions, and generate AI-powered improvement suggestions. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that using the Service will produce specific business results such as increased sales or search rankings.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are as displayed on the pricing page at app.productdoctor.app/pricing. All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax calculation, and invoicing on our behalf. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

6. User Content and Data

You retain full ownership of all product data you upload. By uploading Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not share your Content with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., AI processing via OpenAI). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the data you submit.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service.
• Use automated scripts to scrape or abuse the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
• Interfere with the Service's security or performance.

8. Intellectual Property

ProductDoctor and all associated software, algorithms, UI, branding, and documentation are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of your uploaded Content and exported results. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
